Botanically Dyed Goods

Our botanically dyed goods include wearables, scarves, table runners, and decorative pillows created through the art of botanical dyeing (also called eco printing). Botanical dyeing is the process of coloring textiles using natural materials like plant leaves and flowers, allowing their shapes and pigments to print directly onto the fabric.

Each piece is individually made in our Madison, Wisconsin studio. We carefully lay fresh botanicals over silk, then use heat and time to coax the natural dyes to bloom into the textile, creating a detailed, organic print. Because every bundle is arranged by hand (and every plant releases pigment differently), no two pieces are ever exactly the same, making each one a true piece of art.
